Fantastic $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Represents a Online Gaming GM's Dream
After a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.
Primary Feature
The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.
An imaginative landscape chart created using Campaign Cartographer 3+.
Bundle Tiers
Basic Package
The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, but you can also select any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
